The Loughborough Card Show Is Coming – And We Couldn't Be More Excited

If you've been in the shop or spoken to us at a show, you'll know how passionate we are about this hobby. That's why we're incredibly excited to finally bring a dedicated trading card show to our hometown.

On Sunday 18th October 2026, the inaugural Loughborough Card Show will take place at Loughborough Grammar School, bringing together collectors, vendors, players and hobby businesses from across the UK and the wider Midlands for a day dedicated to everything we love about the hobby.

Why We're Excited

Over the years we've travelled all over the country, attending everything from small community events to huge weekends like the London Card Show. Every time we've come back home, we've thought the same thing:

"Loughborough deserves something like this."

With a thriving local community, Loughborough University just around the corner, and three dedicated card stores in town – Card Goblin, TradeWii Cards, and Pokevest – it feels like the perfect place for collectors to come together.

Not Just Pokémon

Of course, Pokémon will be a huge part of the event, but one thing we're especially excited about is the support for the wider hobby.

Alongside Pokémon, there'll be plenty for fans of sports cards, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Riftbound, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana, and more. Whether you're a long-time collector, competitive player, or just getting started, there'll be something for everyone.

What to Expect

Plans are already taking shape, with ambitions for:

  • 40+ vendors
  • Live stage content and special guests
  • Raffles and giveaways
  • Food and refreshments
  • Activities for younger collectors
  • A welcoming atmosphere for collectors of all ages

At the end of the day, we want this to be more than just rows of tables. Whether you're looking to buy, sell, trade or simply enjoy the atmosphere, we want the Loughborough Card Show to be a place where everyone feels welcome. We want it to be a day where people can meet fellow collectors, discover new games, find that card they've been searching for, and enjoy being part of a hobby that's growing faster than ever.

As you'd expect, we'll be there too, and we can't wait to see familiar faces and meet plenty of new ones.

We're proud to be part of a community that's helping put Loughborough firmly on the UK card collecting map, and we genuinely believe this is just the beginning.
